Workshops

CAMPFIRE STORIES 

   Gather around the campfire to share some Key Club memories, make some western crafts and meet new people!

All are welcome to come and enjoy! 

EVENT PLANNING: The Ultimate Leadership Simulation

   This workshop will help our leaders to learn the basics of event planning and to get some hands-on experience! The workshop will end with attendees competing to plan the best mock event. This will be a great experience, and I hope to see you there :)

 

HOW TO BE A BETTER LEADER

  A session where we expand our knowledge of being leaders and the differences between a good leader and a leader. We will discuss each participants views and experiences of being leaders and tips or strategies on how to be a better leader.

 

HOW TO EN"CHANT" THE NIGHT AWAY

  We will be going over Southwest District Chants and giving Key Clubbers the opportunity to create their own Spicy Divisional Chant. Key Clubbers will also participate in an epic chant battle!

HOW TO GO VIRAL ON TIKTOK

   We'll be covering all things social media, from designing posts to overall account presence. Join us if you have any interest in growing your followers or even becoming a Tiktok star!

KARAOKE

Come sing along to your favorite tunes. This workshop will be full of fun and lots of memories, you don't want to miss out! 

LOPPIPOP MOMENT

Have a lollipop! In this workshop, we will be going over what it means to have a lollipop moment. Who knows, maybe you have made a lollipop moment yourself because they happen all the time! This is a great opportunity to take a step back and take a moment for yourself especially with the service year ending.

MANAGING TO MOTIVATE

In the managing to motivate workshop, we plan to look at ways Kiwanis Clubs encourage continued service. And how we can mitigate burnout after the start of the second semester.

PATH TO THE PRESICENCY: Club Officer Training

Learn the basics of how to be a good club officer! This workshop is great for newly elected officers who need some guidance on how to start out the new service year.

PUBLIC SPEAKING

In this workshop, participants will learn new tips and tricks to become better public speakers. These tools can be used in any type of presentation style and will fundamentally improve your skills as public speakers. Join the workshop to learn more about movement, tone, style, and more when giving a presentation.

SAY "YES" TO THE STRESS: How to Use Stress to Your Advantage

Say Yes to The Stress is a comprehensive workshop where we will be providing a twist to how stress is typically viewed. This workshop will cover stress and time management skills in a fun and new way!
