What’s up southwest? My name is Sarah Montaño. I’m a musician, a long jumper, a Senior Cienega High School and I for the past 2 years I have served on the Southwest District Board as the Catalina Division Lieutenant Governor. I am more than exhilarated to continue my Southbest journey by serving all of you!  My goal for this year is to continue our use of social media to help inform key clubbers what is going on in the district and international world and I would like to create resources to help key clubbers hold more serves projects around their community. What's spicy southwest? My name is Amira Landeros, I derive from El Paso Texas, so howdy! (I don’t have an Accent I promise) Coffee and tea is how I manage throughout the day, how do you? - I’m a senior, a varsity golf player, and I love key club! As key clubbers, we are here to serve -  serve our homes, schools, and community, and I'm here to help you along your amazing community service journey! My job is to ensure DCON is one for the books, (the scrapbooks I might add) :) our spicy LTG’s are even more informed and our budgets remain flawless. I'm excited for the months to come! Howdy Southwest! My name is Reagen Barragan, originating from the Copper Division (previous LtG) and I will be serving as your Bulletin Editor this coming year. Over the course of my term, I plan to publish at least three issues of Key to the Southwest, keep this lovely website updated, as well as keep in contact with all of you through social media. Aside from Key Club, I'm in quite a bit of clubs (Science Olympiad, NHS, and National History Day to name a few), I play varsity soccer, and I am currently top of my class. Although I remain to be involved in various activities, I constantly make Key Club my priority. I'm so excited for this year and what we are going to achieve together!

Hello Southwest! My name is Hannah Grunwald and I am so excited to be your 2018-2019 District Convention Chair! I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico and I am a senior at La Cueva High School. I have been in Kiwanis programs for close to 7 years now and I have loved every minute of it from being president of my home club to being on the executive district board. My goals this year are as ambitious as they are possible. I want to make this year’s DCON a smooth, stress free, extremely fun event. Alaya Alshemari

My name is Alaya Alshemari, this year I will be serving my second term as Black Canyon Lieutenant Governor. I currently attend Apollo High School as a Senior, graduating with the class of 2019! A few things that I enjoy are being active in clubs on campus such as Best Buddies and HOSA, watching Netflix, and meeting new people. This year my goal is to increase communication and Face to Face contact with clubs, to do so I plan to hold six Club Project/Divisional Council meetings throughout the Key Club year. I also will be diligently working to help create an amazing District convention by serving as the co-chair for the DCON committee. This year is going to be absolutely fantastic! Whats up Spicy Southwest! My name is Anayah Peru, a senior at Silver High School. Aside from Key Club, I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with friends, and playing with my pet hedgehog Remmie. This year as Lieutenant Governor, I plan to serve to the best of my ability, increase face to face contact, as well as charter a new club within my division. Hey there Southwest District! I am Parker Kross and I am a Senior at Lake Havasu High School in the Mohave Division. This will be my fourth year in Key Club and my first year on district board. I am thrilled to have received this opportunity to take my journey through the “K” family even further by being able to serve on this board. Outside of Key Club, you can find me in the pool with the LHHS swim team, at a National Honor Society meeting, behind the camera on a photoshoot or in my bed deep into a new show on Netflix. My goals for this year are to successfully communicate to all the members in my divisions, not just the board, and work on starting a new club in at least one of my divisions. I am so excited and cannot wait to work with all of you this year!

I am 17 years old, my favorite color is aqua and my favorite animal is a monkey. I like to listen to music and watch TV. Something interesting about me is I'm extremely short. Hello! My name is Sageene Saganey but most everyone calls me Sage. I am a studious student at Farmington High School that never leaves her house unless food is involved and I’m obsessed with gummy bears. I love animals, books and “all you can eat” buffets. I hate snakes, spiders and chocolate (although I do like dark chocolate). I am so excited to serve you all as your new Lieutenant Governor!! My goal for this year is to increase club membership while also increasing the number of active volunteers. I would also like to begin incorporating “team bonding” workshops so that members may be more comfortable with working with one another and build connections that may help them in the long run. Hey Southwest District, I am Sonya Svyatskaya and I will be your Sangre de Cristo Lieutenant Governor for the 2018-19 key club year. This year was my first year in key club and to say the least it was one of my best years. As a key clubber I was given so many incredible opportunities not only to serve my community but to also meet incredible people and their stories. As Lieutenant Governor I hope to present you all with same amazing opportunities that were presented to me and made Key Club more than a fancy name that goes onto your high school transcript. Along with Key Club I am a varsity tennis player for Los Alamos High School. I have two younger brothers in my life that I love- sometimes. And I have a dog named Benya who is the only man in my life that can take all my crazy. I am so excited for this key club year and hope you are too.

Hey Southwest! My name is Savannah Moffitt, and I am proud to be your Superstition LtG! Aside from being a dedicated student, I am involved in cross country, track, basketball, NHS, and of course, Key Club. I also love singing and playing the piano and guitar. My experiences in these activities have taught me the importance of teamwork, a skill I will apply in this position. This year my goals are to; connect key clubbers from around the division through more service projects and fun events, acknowledge members who go above and beyond, partner with businesses in the community, and create at least one new club to get more driven students involved.
