Committee Applications

Hey Southwest District!

 

    This year, the District is inviting general members and officers to join one of the four standing District committees. These positions are open to any members in good standing and no prior leadership experience is needed! All you need is the time availability, commitment, and a passion for serving in Key Club.

 

    Below are brief descriptions of each of the committee's functions:

1) DCON Committee: Focuses on planning, coordinating, and implementing all aspects of our District Convention.

​

2) Kiwanis Family Committee: Aims to strengthen our bonds with our Kiwanis family counterparts.

​

3) Membership Growth and Retention Committee: Supports clubs in growing their membership and retaining members throughout the year.

​

4) Publicity and Service Engagement Committee: Creates promotional content and plans social media campaigns for our platforms.

 

    Committees generally meet 2-4 times a month with 1-2 hours of independent work throughout the month. DCON Committee members can expect the time commitment to increase as we get closer to the event.
