DCON Recap
District Convention (DCON) is where clubs from all over the Southwest District come together to celebrate the end of the service year and bond on their love for volunteering. The main points of every DCON is the awards, elections, workshops and fun!
Spirit
Clubs showed their Key Club spirit by chanting, winning awards and participating in workshops
Ambitious Key Clubbers campaigned all weekend long to be voted onto the new district board. The voting process was through a system called House of Delegates where representatives from each club voted for new board members after their whole club listens to each candidates speech.
Elections
Workshops
Workshops were run by board members. There were workshops like "Stress Management" , Karaoke, "Arts & Crafts", "Opportunities in Key Club", etc. The workshops were interactive presentations that could be fun, educational, or both!
